Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Proverbs 30:5 KJV
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (ESV)
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4 KJV
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17-18 KJV
The Whole Word. We should know that these scriptures solidify that all scripture is needed for your Sword. I put both translations to tell give you a better understanding. We should realize here that His Word is never contradicting. The problem is that people, for whatever purpose have been contradicting by being selective and even some who have abandoned certain scripture all together because of Christ. Now unfortunately whether we know it or not that is contradictory in itself. Christ's ministry was astounding first of all because He spoke as someone who was scholastically embodied in doctrine(we know why) at the time this upset the religious teachers and leaders largely because of the old wine-skin issue and because when they heard Him they had to reevaluate how they were living for God through The Word. satan knows that the whole Word is the full ammunition against his army and his strategy, that's why when Christ was tempted by him He didn't use his own Words but he first of all saw the angle that satan was coming from (see yesterday's blog) and He used the Word that had been there from The Father. satan uses scripture for purposes to try to condemn you push you to appeal to your pride or to get you to believe his promises are what God would want you to have. The angel of light as he always seems to mask himself. Once again however (this being the first example at this time in the Gospels) Christ demonstrates his steadfast obeyance of His father's Will and His Word. The devil was using pieces of Word to try and conquer The Whole Word. He will do this to you everytime when we omit some or select some that takes away from the direct purpose and instruction of God's Word. To go on living any kind of way just because of Christ's sacrifice is a mochary to Christ purpose and The Scriptures in entirety. Every example Christ gives when he heals or corrects..He brings it to the light and tells them to do these things no more. Christ was a keeper of The Law it is the foundation of why He came, to lead us back to What The Father had been telling you from the get go. Take regard to what He says over and over again in one form or another "I do nothing on my own". We cannot say any Word is false because we accept Christ. That's not what He was saying. He gave glory to The Father and took no praise upon Himself. Okay so what's the point? Really the point is that the enemy knows that by not taking the Whole Word into account that he is given the opportunity to infiltrate in the worse way and violate your connection because the key is that every Word of God proves true. It is valid for, as Our Savior put It "every word that proceedeth out of God's Mouth" Christ knew just who satan was, He could've created a whole new doctrine, a whole new way, statements never heard before. He could've puffed up and blasted him, but He relied on What He knew was Pure and true the whole Word of God. He has not abolished The Word He lived It, showed you How to live by it, Died For It, Rose for It, and Will return For It. That's why he said until heaven and earth pass..until all be fulfilled. Don't let the devil make you miss out on the full opportunity of God's Whole Word. We need it everyday and everyway!

Yes as in Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV... that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
